This site is now live at www.zhaoqingxu.com. It serves three purposes: a professional introduction, a home for my writing, and a record of what I am learning.
What will live here
- Research notes — short expositions of results I find useful, written so that future-me can recover the idea in ten minutes.
- Study notes — summaries from courses and reading seminars, in English and 中文.
- Records — occasional reflections on teaching, conferences, and the Ph.D. process.

写东西是最好的学习方式。一个定理，看懂了和能讲清楚，是两回事；能讲清楚和能写下来让别人也看懂，又是两回事。这个网站就是我的"费曼笔记本"。

A note on the design
The site is built with Hugo and the PaperMod theme, heavily customized: a graph-paper background, contour-line figure on the homepage (a nod to level sets and gradient descent), and five switchable color themes — try the switcher in the bottom-right corner. Your choice is remembered locally.
